It is fun, but difficult, to photograph the moon. Last Saturday the moon’s orbit brought it closer to the earth, and since it was also a full moon “we” got to experience what is dubbed a supermoon. I put quotations around “we” because, budding photographer that I am, I went to the beach to try and get some pictures of the supermoon over the water, but, alas, was foiled by a thick fog. No moon was to be seen. The next night I got a few pictures in the park by my house, but it wasn’t quite “super” enough for me. My Picasa site has been updated with more beach house pictures and some non-super moon photos.

If my calculations are correct, the Supermoon in your photo is exactly 82 pixels wide.
Is that good?
